I've Got Joy

So, for all of you who went to Joy School, you might enjoy this.  And if you don't know what I'm talking about, I think you'll still enjoy!

Lyrics:

Oh boy, I've got Joy

I do, I do

It starts in my heart

and spreads to my head in a minute or two

But the best place it show is below my nose

For a mile or two

I've got a smile for you

I feel so neat from my head to my feet

When I got Joy

I got Joy

I got Joy

Oh boy

(There is actually another verse too)

Welcome Home Kevin

It was a great experience to go to the airport this morning to welcome home our missionary Kevin!  He looks great and we are so proud of him!  We can't wait to hear more about your experiences and of course... to play some games.

Waiting for Kevin

Our first sight of him

Meeting Johnny for the first time

Mother's Day

What an amazing Mother's Day.  I have the greatest children anyone could ask for!  I absolutely love watching them learn new things.  There is nothing I'd rather do with my time than be with my family.  My kids (and of course my amazing husband) gave me a new camera for a Mother's Day gift!  Yay!!!!  I am very sentimental and I always complain that my current camera doesn't do justice to my children's precious moments.  Thanks so much!

Happy Mother's Day to our Mothers and Grandmothers

We love to see Jeri

My sister Jeri and I are only 15 months apart so we grew up being very close... we even had a lot of the same friends.  She currently lives in Alaska so we miss her like crazy!  She passed through the big SLC on a layover the other day so we took advantage of the opportunity to go to breakfast with her.  She's headed for Costa Rica with friends... I am so jealous!

Johnny is standing!!!

No More Protection

Yay! Johnny has been wearing a helmet for about three months to reshape his head... yes, he favored one side of his head for sleeping when he was born and before we knew it he had a FLAT HEAD! So, it was a great day when we went for a checkup and the Doctor said he had graduated out of the thing. We took it off excitedly, but hesitantly because this kid has been banging his head around for fun. It turns out after testing out a small head tap on the wall, he has realized it isn't such a good idea anymore.
